Goals

ICE has 4 initial goals:

• Establish a group of investigators who work together and are dedicated to further the understanding of endocarditis
• To collect, analyze, and disseminate data on IE
• To improve the medical care of patients with IE through better understanding of patient demographics, management, and outcomes
• Develop a network of investigators to perform randomized clinical trials
